Our Story
The Duhra family moved to Canada in the early 80’s with a dream of building a better life for themselves and their future children. They were committed to one day giving back to the country that had so graciously welcomed them in.
They first settled in Edmonton where they began working as general labourers during the day, but their nights were spent talking about breaking into the homebuilding and development business. In 1986 after putting some money away, they started their first project, a single-family home. They then moved on to a few multi-family units. From there, their interest was further sparked and their passion for the industry grew.
They were certain that there were others just like them. Land development would give them the opportunity to make this dream a reality, and it would also become their way of giving back. There were a number of bumps along the road, but their passion kept them going, and they have been blessed to create thriving and vibrant communities over the last 25 years. Communities that truly speak to the desires of their residents.
Over the years the Duhra's have built many communities in Rocky View County including Cambridge Park, East Ridge Estates, Conrich Estates, and Conrich Meadows. They have also had the pleasure of developing inner-city and rural development projects in Calgary, Chestermere, and Edmonton. Their experience with building hotels, restaurants, and various other commercial projects has been a great joy; however, their greatest pleasure comes from country residential development.
